A few answers before we talk about your day.

What types of events do you provide DJ and MC services for?

I handle the music and the microphone for weddings, company events, holiday parties, birthdays, anniversaries, and other private celebrations. Music and hosting are tailored to your event and guests, keeping the experience connected from start to finish.

What lighting do you offer?

Dance floor wash lighting, uplighting, and monogram projection are available. A monogram can feature your names or initials plus your wedding or event date, projected onto a wall. I can help you choose what fits your space and the atmosphere you want.

Can we customize a package or book a standalone service?

Yes. Tell me what you need, whether that’s custom coverage hours, ceremony-only audio, MC-only hosting, or additional audio and lighting. I can help you choose the services that fit your event and put together a proposal based on your date, venue, and coverage needs.

Can we share music preferences and include special traditions?

Absolutely. Share your must-play songs, do-not-play list, favorite styles, and any cultural music or special traditions you’d like included. I’ll talk through the specific songs, timing, and hosting instructions with you so the music and moments reflect your celebration.

Will you coordinate with our planner and venue?

Yes. I work with your planner and venue team to coordinate music cues, introductions, announcements, and event timing, so we’re working from the same playbook.

Do setup and breakdown count toward our booked hours?

No. Setup and breakdown are included outside your booked coverage hours, so that time doesn’t reduce the DJ and MC coverage agreed for your event.

What happens if our event runs longer than planned?

Additional time is $250 per hour, subject to my availability and your venue’s rules. If you’d like me to continue beyond the booked end time, we’ll agree on the extension and its cost before the additional coverage begins.

Do you do outdoor events?

Yes. Outdoor events require a six-foot table with a linen, reasonable access to power, and adequate covering to protect me and my equipment from sun and weather. Shade alone is not a substitute for weather protection. I’ll review the setup and weather backup arrangements with you and your venue before the event.

Do you travel outside Orange County?

Yes. I serve Orange County and events across Southern California. A travel fee applies to venues more than 50 miles one way from my business base, and lodging is required beyond 100 miles one way. Any applicable travel and lodging costs will be included in your proposal before you book.

Do you carry insurance?

Yes. I carry liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance to your venue upon request.

How do we book, and what happens next?

Start by sending your date and event details through the inquiry form. We will then have a phone call to discuss the details of your day. Once availability and services are agreed, your booking is confirmed after I accept the booking, the agreement is signed, and the required retainer is received. From there, I’ll work with you on music preferences, key moments, and event details, coordinating with your planner and venue as needed.

How do payments work, and when is the balance due?

A $300 retainer is required, with the remaining balance due at least 30 days before your event. For bookings made within 30 days of the event, payment in full is due at booking. You’ll receive a QuickBooks invoice with available options such as credit or debit card, ACH bank transfer, Apple Pay, PayPal, or Venmo. Available methods are shown at checkout. Zelle payments can also be arranged directly with me. There’s no extra charge for any accepted payment method.
